LIVE WEBINAR: Behavioral Disturbances of Dementia: Interventions to Reduce the Use of Psychotropic Medications

Heck, PsyD, ABPP, Clinical Director at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2013, 1:30 pm Eastern Time for a live presentation and discussion on the topic of Behavioral Disturbances of Dementia. Discussion will be moderated by Dr. E. Ayn Welleford, Chair, Department of Gerontology, Virginia Commonwealth University.

At the end of this one-hour presentation, participants will learn:

– To more clearly describe problematic behaviors and possible triggers;
– Strategies for preventing/reducing problem behaviors; and
– Appropriate use of anti-psychotic medications.
