WEBSITE REGISTRATION VERSUS EVENT REGISTRATION

Following a wave of questions posed on our website over the past two days regarding event registration versus website registration, we wanted to revisit the how-to for both cases. The registration with our website will allow members to receive announcements of our events, updates, new information or resources which we usually post on our homepage then link to distinct pages (if case applies). Specific event registrations, however, (which are always posted on their respective event pages) will reserve a “seat” at our live webinars.  So, registration with our website does not automatically register one for any of our live events. For today’s specific case,  the Elder Abuse and Domestic Violence in Later Life: Innovative New Resources for the Community Webinar scheduled for 1:30 pm Eastern, the event registration will be found at the bottom of the following page: www.alzpossible.org/webinars-2/elder-abuse-and-domestic-violence-resources/ If you plan to attend this event and have not yet registered from the above referenced page, please do so now. As always, please feel free to contact us for any other clarification or guidance needed vis-a-vis your participation and active involvement in our activities. Looking forward to serving you ahead, we thank you and wish you our best regards, AlzPossible Admin www.alzpossible.org...

Virginia Family Caregiver Solution Center — Resources for Respite Across the Lifespan

As a family caregiver, you focus your energy on your care recipient’s health and quality of life, often at the expense of your own. For as rewarding as caregiving is, it is also very stressful and demanding. You likely feel as though you can’t take time for yourself. The Virginia Family Caregiver Solution Center is passionately devoted to providing respite resources for caregivers across the lifespan — parents of children with disabilities and adults with disabilities, as well as for caregivers of older adults. You will find both services in your community, as well as educational information — to help you stay emotionally and physically healthy. Please know that you are not alone and taking regular respite will help you be a better caregiver. http://www.virginianavigator.org/vf/Home/helpful-caregiver-resources/article-1029  ...
