Virginia Family Caregiver Solution Center — Resources for Respite Across the Lifespan

As a family caregiver, you focus your energy on your care recipient’s health and quality of life, often at the expense of your own. For as rewarding as caregiving is, it is also very stressful and demanding. You likely feel as though you can’t take time for yourself. The Virginia Family Caregiver Solution Center is passionately devoted to providing respite resources for caregivers across the lifespan — parents of children with disabilities and adults with disabilities, as well as for caregivers of older adults. You will find both services in your community, as well as educational information — to help you stay emotionally and physically healthy. Please know that you are not alone and taking regular respite will help you be a better caregiver. http://www.virginianavigator.org/vf/Home/helpful-caregiver-resources/article-1029  ...
